Louis Dallara
Louis Dallara is a Fine art photographer from New Jersey. He shoots a wide variety of styles and subjects. Louis says that he fits the style of how he is photographing to the subject, in order to better bring out it's energy and emotion. I found his website originally looking for plant photography, which was, in itself, well put together. To my delight though, he has a large body of works to shift through and learn from.
If you had to choose a main "school" of photography for Louis, it would be landscape. As that is most likely the largest portion of his work. I highly suggest taking a peek at his website. Because of his variety of subjects, there is no doubt something that will catch your attention.
Dallara uses post process editing in his photos. I mean who doesn't these days, but I still find it's an important aspect to note none the less. In my opinion, best to be honest about it. The above triptych is absolutely one of my favorites from his horticulture section. Personally, I have a weakness for triptychs. Triptychs have always resonated with me and this one especially does. The slow pull out from the dandelion, combined with the fade and blur of the colors blending, tying it off with an almost documentary style shot all flows very nicely.
